Meeting with the Mayor of Athens about the Rights of the Child

On Tuesday 12th of November 2019, the Child Rights Team visited the city hall of Athens and met the Mayor of Athens, Mr. Costas Bakoyannis.

The children volunteers presented and discussed their proposals and asked for the support of the mayor in their campaign 302010. Mr Bakoyannis was enthusiastic about their ideas and said that one of his tasks is to improve the living conditions of children in Athens.

The mayor was fascinated with the children who not only knew about the issues of the city but they had also suggestions for their solution.
